Broadcast Engineer

About the role

The Broadcast Engineer will be based on‑site in Lagos, ensuring the reliable operation of all studio and transmission equipment for Inspiration 92.3 FM. This full‑time position involves monitoring signal quality, installing and configuring broadcast systems, and providing hands‑on support during live shows.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain signal quality across studio and transmitter chains.
• Install, configure, and upgrade audio consoles, transmitters, networking gear, and related infrastructure.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues quickly to minimise downtime.
• Provide technical support during live broadcasts and coordinate with on‑air talent and production teams.
• Document procedures, manage equipment inventories, and support system upgrades.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of experience in broadcast engineering, preferably in radio.
• Degree or diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Broadcast Technology, or related field.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with presenters, producers, and management.
• Completion of NYSC is an advantage.
