Audit Associate

About the role

The Audit Associate will support external audit engagements from planning through to final reporting. Working closely with senior auditors and clients, you will help ensure financial statements are accurate and compliant with relevant standards.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in external audit engagements from planning to completion.
• Review financial statements for accuracy and compliance with applicable standards.
• Perform audit testing, document findings, and prepare working papers.
• Identify risks and control gaps, providing recommendations for improvement.
• Prepare audit reports and liaise with clients to obtain documentation and clarify issues.
• Maintain adherence to audit timelines and deadlines.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in external audit.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and auditing standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Competitive net salary ranging from ₦200,000 to ₦250,000 per month.
