Associate Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

Beacon Power Services is seeking a detail‑oriented and methodical Associate – Quality Assurance to act as a critical line of defense between development and users. You will ensure every feature, fix, and release meets the company’s quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and testing strategies aligned with product requirements.
• Perform manual and automated testing across functional, regression, integration, performance, and user‑acceptance testing phases.
• Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman to verify data integrity and system integrations.
• Identify, document, and track defects in Jira, collaborating with engineering and product teams to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
• Execute smoke and sanity checks on new builds and analyze test results to ensure release stability.
• Maintain up‑to‑date testing documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation coverage.
