About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to join our early‑years team in Lagos. You will work closely with the lead teacher to create a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment for preschool children.
Key responsibilities
- Support the lead teacher in daily classroom routines and learning activities.
- Assist with age‑appropriate experiences that promote participation, communication and early literacy.
- Observe individual children, note their needs and share observations with the lead teacher.
- Apply the EYFS framework in everyday practice.
- Maintain an organized classroom and foster positive relationships with children, colleagues and parents.
Required profile
- Minimum NCE in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Professionalism, responsibility and a collaborative attitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for a school setting.
Required skills
- Knowledge of the EYFS framework.
- Montessori training is an advantage.
