About the role
The Area Sales Manager, Corporate is responsible for driving bulk cement sales across a defined region, focusing on corporate clients, large‑scale projects and key accounts. The role blends strategic planning, team leadership and direct account management to grow revenue and market share within the construction ecosystem.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute area‑specific sales strategies to meet volume and revenue targets.
- Drive corporate and project‑based sales, targeting major construction firms, developers and government contracts.
- Identify and secure high‑value projects and long‑term supply agreements.
- Manage a portfolio of strategic corporate accounts, building strong relationships with contractors, consultants, developers and procurement teams.
- Lead negotiations for large‑volume contracts and framework agreements.
- Lead, coach and monitor a team of Corporate Sales Representatives / Key Account Managers, setting performance targets and conducting regular field visits.
- Identify emerging construction projects, monitor competitor activities and provide market intelligence to senior management.
- Develop pricing strategies, negotiate complex deals and evaluate credit risks in collaboration with finance.
- Coordinate with logistics and plant teams to ensure product availability, demand planning and timely delivery.
- Track KPIs, prepare performance reports and use data analytics to address performance gaps.
Required profile
- Proven experience leading and coaching a sales team.
- Ability to set clear performance targets and monitor productivity.
- Strong relationship‑building skills with corporate clients and key stakeholders.
- Experience in negotiating high‑value contracts and managing long‑term supply agreements.
