Air Conditioning Technician

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Air Conditioning Technician to join our facilities team in Lagos. The successful candidate will install, maintain and repair a wide range of HVAC equipment for our hotel operations, ensuring comfort and energy efficiency for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain and repair split units, inverter air conditioners, central systems, cassette and standing units.
• Perform preventive maintenance, refrigerant recharging, leak detection, pressure testing and vacuuming.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical and refrigerant faults and replace defective components such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, motors, capacitors, thermostats, control boards, relays, contactors, expansion valves and fans.
• Clean and service air filters, coils, condensers, evaporators, drainage systems and ductwork.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns, minimise downtime and keep accurate service records.
• Ensure safe handling of refrigerants and compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with other maintenance staff and advise management on equipment upgrades and maintenance schedules.

Required profile

• Minimum S.S.C.E qualification.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience in HVAC installation, maintenance or repair.
• Ability to work independently and follow safety procedures.
