Admin Officer – Equipment Yard Management

About the role

The Admin Officer will support the daily operations of the equipment yard at Lekki Grandview Hotel. This role combines administrative duties, client liaison, and basic sales support to ensure smooth equipment management and excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain an accurate inventory of all yard equipment, track availability and maintenance schedules.
• Greet and assist clients visiting or calling the yard, capture their details and follow up on inquiries.
• Generate and nurture leads through LinkedIn and other channels, and post available equipment on online platforms.
• Manage the yard’s social media and seller pages, ensuring timely updates.
• Respond promptly to calls, emails and messages in a professional manner.
• Coordinate with technicians and external vendors for equipment repairs, part replacements and service schedules.
• Monitor leasing activity, track return dates and flag overdue returns.
• Maintain comprehensive records of client information, transactions and equipment history.
• Prepare simple reports on inquiries, leads and yard activity for management.

Required profile

• HND in Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in administration, sales support or front‑desk roles.
• Strong record‑keeping habits and attention to detail.
• Professional spoken and written English with a courteous phone manner.
• Ability to work independently in an equipment facility environment.
• Residence within a reasonable commuting distance to Lekki.
