ACS Operations Coordinator – 2nd Shift

About the role

The ACS Operations Coordinator (2nd Shift) is responsible for the operational performance of DHL Aviation's ACS network flight in West Africa. Reporting to the ACS Operations Supervisor, the role ensures optimal utilisation of DHL owned and wet‑leased aircraft, supports commercial activities and drives profitability while maintaining high levels of customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate export operations for the network flight.
• Maximise utilisation of DHL owned and wet‑leased aircraft to lower unit costs.
• Handle customer requests, prepare rate quotes and confirm bookings.
• Maintain accurate and timely shipment data in TGV, CMS and other ACS applications.
• Develop and use operational checklists to prevent issues during flight execution.
• Liaise with ACS clients, understand their business practices and propose cost‑saving improvements.
• Monitor West African political and regional developments and recommend operational actions.
• Achieve revenue budgets and drive continuous performance improvement.

Required profile

• Ability to identify business opportunities and operational risks in West Africa.
• Knowledge of political and regional factors affecting aviation operations.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with internal and external partners.
• Experience in aviation or logistics operations, preferably in a shift environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with TGV tracking system.
• Proficiency with CMS cargo management system.
