Accountant – Entry Level

About the role

FMR Agency is seeking an entry‑level Accountant to join its finance team in Lagos. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting budgeting activities within a hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and periodic reports.
• Process invoices, payments, and perform reconciliations.
• Monitor cash flow and assist in budget preparation.
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor financial transactions.
• Maintain proper accounting documentation and records.
• Support management with financial analysis and recommendations.

Required profile

• BSc in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
