Account Officer

About the role
The Account Officer will support the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day accounting operations. This entry‑level position offers exposure to core bookkeeping, invoicing, and reporting processes within a dynamic environment. You will work closely with senior accountants to develop a solid foundation in financial management.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with day‑to‑day accounting and bookkeeping tasks.
- Prepare, process, and reconcile invoices, receipts, and bank statements.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledger entries.
- Support the senior accounting team in preparing monthly reports and budgets.
- Follow up on accounts receivable and payable to ensure timely settlements.
- Perform basic administrative duties related to financial documentation.
- Assist in month‑end closing activities.
- Help with audit preparation and documentation.
Required profile
- Minimum qualification of a Diploma.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar accounting role.
