Warehouse Officer

About the role

The Warehouse Officer will manage the finished‑goods warehouse, ensuring accurate receipt, storage, inventory control and timely dispatch of products. This role is critical for maintaining stock integrity and supporting customer deliveries in a fast‑moving FMCG environment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive finished goods, verify quantities, batch numbers and documentation, and record them in SAP.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct cycle counts and support monthly, quarterly and annual stock audits.
• Apply FIFO/FEFO principles during picking, loading and dispatch, and manage expired or damaged stock.
• Coordinate order picking, loading and dispatch activities with sales, customer service and transport partners.
• Optimize warehouse space, ensure safe stacking, equipment maintenance and security of stock.
• Supervise warehouse personnel, conduct briefings, train on SOPs and monitor performance.
• Prepare regular reports on inventory, receipts, dispatches, variances and operational performance.
• Identify continuous‑improvement opportunities to boost productivity, reduce losses and enhance accuracy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing or FMCG warehouse operations, including supervision.
• Proven experience with SAP/ERP inventory and warehouse transactions.
• Experience in finished‑goods handling, stock control and audit support.
