Video Editor (Remote, Full-Time)

About the role

Secure Wealth Group, founded by Olatomide Fadipe, is building a group of businesses and brands around UK property, investment, education and wealth creation, including a property investment group, an academy and a wider ecosystem of content and media. It is looking for a full-time, remote Video Editor who is an exceptional editor with strong editorial judgement, able to turn raw footage into several pieces of content and to work closely with the Social Media Manager, Marketing Manager and copywriters. The role is open to relocation to the UK depending on business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into multiple pieces of content, such as Reels, educational videos and platform-specific versions
• Work with the content and marketing team to decide what to create and how to tell the story
• Focus on attention, storytelling, pacing, retention and communication
• Bring your own ideas and help shape the video and content production function as the organisation grows

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience as a video editor
• Exceptional editor who is trusted by colleagues and can make independent decisions
• Full-time commitment; exclusivity is required, so agencies, freelancers and people juggling multiple clients are not suitable
• Ability to work remotely and be available during working hours
• Evidence of your best work, with references and recommendations from former employers or colleagues

Required skills

• Editing for social media, including hooks, pacing, captions and B-roll
• Repurposing one recording into several pieces of content
• Fast, efficient editing without unnecessary effects
