Video Editor & Post Production Expert
SabiRecruit
Job description
About the role
SabiRecruit is looking for a video editor and post-production expert to deliver realistic post-production work from raw footage to final cut. The role suits editors who can explain the editorial reasoning behind every cut, and also welcomes motion designers and animators.
Key responsibilities
- Author realistic post-production scenarios from raw footage through to final cut, as a working editor would receive them.
- Write reference critiques with the editorial reasoning behind each cut, covering pacing, continuity, colour and sound.
- Grade generated video for continuity, pacing, motion quality and whether it would survive a client review.
- Demonstrate timeline workflows in Premiere, DaVinci Resolve or After Effects the way editors actually work.
Required profile
- At least two years of delivered work and a reel to show.
- Ability to articulate why a cut works, not just make it.
- Motion designers and animators are welcome; depth in After Effects, Cinema 4D or Blender is a plus.
