UI Developer (Junior to Consultant) – Lagos

About the role

We are seeking UI Developers at various seniority levels (Junior, Intermediate, Specialist, Consultant) to join our Lagos office. The role involves turning UI/UX designs into functional, high‑quality web interfaces while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front‑end components using modern frameworks and APIs.
• Integrate UI work with back‑end services and ensure seamless data flow.
• Participate in DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, version control, and deployments.
• Address performance, scalability, security, and reliability considerations.
• Follow coding standards, documentation practices, and secure coding guidelines.
• Support functional testing, defect resolution, and root‑cause analysis.
• Maintain technical documentation and release artefacts.
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers and other developers.
• Implement accessibility standards and UI principles.
• Adapt quickly to existing systems, multiple delivery initiatives, and changing priorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Design, Business or related field (post‑graduate degree or certifications a plus).
• 4–15+ years of relevant experience, depending on the level applied for.
• Completed NYSC.
• Experience in enterprise‑scale digital or technology environments.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Analytical, problem‑solving mindset focused on delivery.

Required skills

• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
• Front‑end frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue.
• API integration.
• Git (version control).
• CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
• Performance optimization and security best practices.
• Accessibility standards.
• Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and SDLC knowledge.
