Truck Driver

About the role

Evans Industries Limited is seeking a reliable Truck Driver to handle the pickup and delivery of packages, documents, and other items across Lagos. The role requires adherence to safety standards, efficient route planning, and excellent customer interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver packages, documents, and other items to specified locations promptly and securely.
• Plan and follow efficient routes to optimize delivery times.
• Obtain signatures, confirmations, or collect payments upon delivery.
• Ensure the assigned vehicle is in good working condition and that all vehicle documents are up to date.
• Adhere to all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and drive safely at all times.
• Update logbooks and report on all matters related to the assigned motorcycle to a supervisor.

Required profile

• Valid rider's/driver's card or license.
• Minimum 1-2 years of delivery driving experience.
• Familiarity with local Lagos routes.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Punctual, reliable, honest and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Physical stamina to handle long hours and the demands of the job.
• Good communication skills for interacting with customers and supervisors.
• At least SSCE/WAEC qualification or higher.
