Treasury Manager

About the role

The Treasury Manager will lead Renmoney’s liquidity, funding and treasury risk framework, ensuring sufficient liquidity to support loan growth while optimizing funding costs and maintaining strict compliance with CBN regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Own daily, weekly and medium‑term liquidity management and cash‑flow forecasting aligned with loan disbursement and repayment cycles.
• Design and execute liquidity stress tests and scenario analyses, presenting outcomes to ALCO and senior management.
• Develop and implement funding strategies across bank borrowings, commercial paper, REPOs and alternative structures, monitoring market conditions and cost of funds.
• Support structuring, issuance and management of commercial paper programmes, liaising with issuing houses, trustees and investors.
• Build and maintain relationships with deposit banks and financial institutions, negotiating funding lines and managing counterparty concentration.
• Prepare comprehensive ALCO packs, including liquidity dashboards, funding analysis and market outlook, and track implementation of decisions.
• Ensure full regulatory compliance with CBN requirements and internal risk controls.

Required profile

• Proven experience in liquidity management and forecasting.
• Experience conducting scenario analysis and stress testing.
• Strong understanding of money‑market instruments, derivative products and funding structures.
• Demonstrated ability to manage banking and counterparty relationships.
• Familiarity with ALCO reporting and CBN regulatory framework.
