Training Manager – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

About the role

The Training Manager at Jawa International Limited designs, coordinates and delivers training programmes that build staff competence and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, safety standards and regulatory requirements. The role identifies training needs, develops structured learning plans and maintains accurate training records to support a skilled, compliant and continuously improving workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Identify training needs across departments through skills gap analysis, performance reviews and regulatory requirements.
• Design, plan and deliver induction, GMP, safety and role‑specific training programmes for staff at all levels.
• Develop and maintain training curricula, materials and schedules in line with company and regulatory standards, in consultation with functional and department heads.
• Maintain accurate training records, attendance registers and competency assessments for audit and regulatory purposes.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements to content and delivery methods.
• Support onboarding of new employees and ensure timely completion of mandatory training.
• Prepare periodic training reports for management and ensure readiness for regulatory audits and inspections.

Required profile

• Sc./HND in Human Resources, Education, Social Sciences, Pharmacy or related fields, or a postgraduate qualification.
• Minimum of 3‑5 years’ experience in a training or learning & development role, preferably within a pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environment.
• High level of integrity and reliability in maintaining training records.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles.
• Understanding of GMP training requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using learning management or record‑keeping systems.
