Technical Manager - Strategic Key Account

About the role

The Technical Manager – Strategic Key Account will act as the primary technical reference for Sidel equipment installed at strategic customer plants in Nigeria. You will ensure optimal performance, minimise unplanned stops, and enhance the overall customer experience through proactive maintenance and technical support.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and improve the performance of Sidel production lines, reducing unplanned downtime.
• Lead the maintenance strategy for customer plants, aligning with Sidel recommended maintenance plans.
• Provide first‑line technical support to customer maintenance teams and resolve issues promptly.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis to eliminate recurring technical problems.
• Facilitate the understanding and correct use of Sidel technical documentation.
• Drive commercial discussions related to maintenance services and upgrades.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of field experience in the beverage industry (Site Manager, Maintenance Manager, FSE, etc.).
• Strong English proficiency; local language is a plus.
• Experience with PET lines, preferably Sidel or Krones.
• Background in automation and continuous improvement (TPM, WCM) is advantageous.

• PET line operation and troubleshooting.
