Technical Lead

About the role

Tailormust is seeking a Technical Lead to drive the development and maintenance of its digital ecosystem for modern tailors and fashion designers. This full‑time, on‑site position in Benue State, Nigeria, combines hands‑on engineering with strategic leadership to deliver scalable, secure, and high‑performance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for the platform, defining architecture and guiding engineering and product teams.
• Translate business and user requirements into technical roadmaps, oversee code reviews, and manage release cycles.
• Collaborate with designers, operations, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with fashion‑tech, supply‑chain, and networking features.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, mentor team members, and establish best practices for security, performance, and reliability.
• Continuously improve system integration, APIs, and data management to support community‑based applications.

Required profile

• Strong software engineering background with modern web technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript, front‑end frameworks, back‑end services).
• Proven experience designing scalable architectures and leading technical teams.
• Proficiency in systems integration, API development, and data management.
• Knowledge of security, performance optimization, and reliability practices for online platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Benue State and engage with local and global teams.
