Technical Assistant to Chief Development Officer

About the role

The Technical Assistant will support the Chief Development Officer in driving Sundry Markets Limited’s property acquisition, project delivery and facilities operations. This is a full‑time, on‑site position based at the Head Office in Port Harcourt, with travel as required.

Key responsibilities

• Provide executive briefings, technical analysis and track deliverables for the CDO.
• Oversee project lifecycles from design through completion, including BOQ and drawing reviews.
• Coordinate fit‑out elements such as HVAC, MEP and IT systems to ensure project readiness.
• Monitor facilities performance, maintenance activities and customer experience metrics.
• Analyse site data and support property acquisition pipelines for regional expansion.
• Collaborate on asset tracking, ensuring alignment between procurement and finance.
• Develop dashboards, generate reports and deliver actionable data insights.
• Authorise SOPs and workflows to maintain ISO‑aligned QMS.
• Support ERP implementation, process automation and data‑structure optimisation.
• Manage internal documentation and knowledge‑base workflows.
• Act as liaison between operational, finance and technical teams, driving continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Completed NYSC or exemption certificate.
• 5–8 years experience in projects, facilities or property management.
• Experience with QMS and ERP systems is preferred.
• Relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
