About the role
The Nigeria INGO Forum (NIF) is seeking a Technical Administration & Liaison Officer to support its operations in Zamfara (Gusau). Reporting to the Deputy Director, the officer will ensure smooth administrative, logistical and compliance functions while strengthening engagement with state government authorities.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain compliance with NIF/NRC policies, procedures and legal frameworks.
- Oversee day‑to‑day office operations, filing systems and inventory management.
- Coordinate procurement processes, monitor budgets and process payments and invoices.
- Organise travel, accommodation and transport logistics for staff and visitors.
- Supervise administrative staff and manage car‑hire drivers or vehicle arrangements.
- Draft and submit correspondence to government agencies and track regulatory developments.
- Support the preparation of budgets and administrative expense monitoring.
- Represent NIF positively in interactions with donors, UN agencies and other stakeholders.
Required profile
- Proven experience in administrative and logistical support within an NGO or similar environment.
- Familiarity with procurement procedures and budget monitoring.
- Ability to supervise staff and manage vehicle or car‑hire arrangements.
- Strong knowledge of government regulations affecting INGOs in Northwest Nigeria.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
