Systematic Trading & Quantitative Strategies Director

About the role

DAT INVESTORS is building a Systematic Trading & Quantitative Strategies Division to create institutional‑grade research, execution, and trading infrastructure. The Director will lead the design, development, and institutionalisation of advanced systematic trading systems across global markets.

Key responsibilities

• Architect the long‑term quantitative trading infrastructure, research environment, risk systems, and execution framework.
• Lead quantitative research and alpha development for FX, commodities, equities, indices, futures, digital assets, derivatives and multi‑asset portfolios.
• Design and optimise trend‑following, mean‑reversion, volatility, market‑neutral, macro‑quantitative and AI‑assisted trading models.
• Develop signal‑generation methodologies using statistical modelling, machine learning, pattern recognition, probabilistic analysis and market‑microstructure insights.
• Oversee data engineering, AI‑assisted market intelligence and institutional risk management.
• Provide strategic leadership to grow the quantitative division and position the firm as a globally competitive systematic investment platform.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in quantitative research, algorithmic trading and systematic strategy development.
• Proven track record of building and scaling quantitative trading infrastructure in an institutional setting.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to work directly with executive management.
• Deep understanding of global financial markets and multi‑asset trading.
