System Administrator – Full‑time (Abuja)

About the role

Moniepoint Group is looking for a hands‑on System Administrator to ensure the stability, performance, and security of its IT infrastructure. This fully onsite position will support a fast‑growing fintech platform serving millions of users across Nigeria.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain servers, virtualization platforms and hybrid cloud environments.
• Administer Windows Server and Linux systems, keeping them patched and optimised.
• Configure, manage and troubleshoot enterprise networking equipment including routers, switches, firewalls and wireless access points.
• Implement network security measures such as VLANs, VPNs, QoS policies and monitor bandwidth utilisation.
• Develop automation scripts (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and use IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Build and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions with Prometheus, Grafana or Nagios.
• Enforce IT security policies, manage endpoint protection, patch management and user authentication services.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 month of relevant experience in system or network administration.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Hands‑on approach with a focus on continuous improvement and security.
