Supply Planning Executive - Nigeria

About the role

Godrej Consumer Products, a fast-moving consumer goods company active in Asia, Africa and Latin America, is hiring a Supply Planning Executive in Lagos State, Nigeria. This is a full-time, on-site position covering demand and supply planning across key product categories, with the aim of keeping inventory at optimal levels and ensuring timely availability of materials and finished goods.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, sales and logistics teams to develop supply plans and manage purchase orders.
• Analyze sales forecasts and track stock levels to identify potential shortages or excesses.
• Recommend corrective actions and support continuous improvement of planning processes.
• Maintain accurate planning data and prepare regular reports for stakeholders.
• Monitor supplier performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in FMCG, manufacturing or supply chain operations, preferably in Nigeria or West Africa.
• Strong analytical skills for demand forecasting, inventory analysis and data-driven decisions.
• Effective communication skills for working with cross-functional teams, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Purchasing and procurement skills, including order management and supplier negotiation.
• Attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines and commitment to ethical and inclusive workplace practices.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel and planning tools.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is an advantage.
