Superintendent Pharmacist – Lagos Island

About the role

The Superintendent Pharmacist is a full‑time, on‑site position based on Lagos Island. You will be responsible for overseeing professional, ethical and legal standards of pharmacy operations, ensuring safe medication supply and providing patient‑focused counseling.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise dispensing activities and review prescriptions for clinical appropriateness.
• Maintain accurate documentation, manage controlled drugs and ensure compliance with Nigerian pharmacy regulations.
• Lead, mentor and train pharmacy staff, implementing SOPs and quality‑assurance processes.
• Conduct regular audits, liaise with regulatory bodies and support public‑health initiatives.

Required profile

• Licensed pharmacist with a B.Pharm or Pharm.D and current registration with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria.
• Proven experience in community or retail pharmacy, including supervisory or leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical care, medication safety and Nigerian pharmacy laws.
• Excellent organizational, documentation and regulatory‑reporting skills.
