Subsea Operations Superintendent – Offshore Projects

About the role

The Subsea Operations Superintendent will lead and coordinate subsea installation and construction activities across multiple offshore projects. This senior position ensures safe, efficient, and compliant execution of all subsea operations while managing on‑site teams and resources.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and supervise subsea operations for various oil & gas projects.
• Lead and train the subsea operations team, ensuring competence and safety.
• Maintain and calibrate subsea systems and equipment, overseeing preventive maintenance.
• Manage offshore representatives on OIMR vessels, organize meetings and reporting.
• Coordinate with rig, subsea, and project managers to align schedules and budgets.
• Develop and enforce safety protocols, conduct risk assessments and emergency response planning.
• Prepare job packs, budgets, and documentation for surveys, modifications, and projects.
• Participate in operational and project meetings, providing technical input and status updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, marine biology, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of offshore subsea installation/construction experience, including at least 5 years aboard an OIMR vessel.
• Proven experience in drilling, completions, and installation within a production environment.
• Valid driver’s license, BOSIET certification, and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with subsea operations software and related equipment.
• Experience in well control equipment maintenance and operation.
• Knowledge of subsea equipment maintenance procedures and calibration.
