Storekeeper

About the role

Ades Ventures Nigeria Limited is looking for a highly organized and proactive Storekeeper to manage inventory and warehouse operations. The role involves receiving, storing, issuing, and documenting stock while ensuring accuracy and supporting smooth business processes.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and verify incoming goods and materials.
• Maintain proper storage, preservation and labeling of stock.
• Keep accurate inventory records, conduct routine stock counts and periodic audits.
• Reconcile physical stock with system records and initiate replenishment requests.
• Issue materials against authorized requisitions following FIFO principles.
• Maintain a clean, organized and secure store environment, preventing losses and pilferage.
• Prepare and maintain Goods Received Notes, Goods Issued Notes, bin cards and other documentation.
• Generate daily, weekly and monthly inventory reports and report variances promptly.
• Support internal and external stock audits and ensure compliance with health, safety and housekeeping standards.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Production, Accounts, Sales and Operations to fulfill material requests.

Required profile

• Minimum OND/HND/Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Accounting or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in storekeeping, inventory management or warehouse operations.
• High integrity and strong accountability.
