STEM & Digital Skills Instructor for Teens (Ikorodu)

About the role

Digital Skills Centre is seeking an enthusiastic STEM & Digital Skills Instructor to deliver hands‑on technology lessons to teenagers (ages 10‑17) in Ikorodu. You will make coding and digital tools fun, practical, and accessible while supporting our Teen Tech Academy mission.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, project‑based lessons covering a range of digital topics.
• Simplify technical concepts into fun, practical learning experiences.
• Guide students through hands‑on coding activities and projects.
• Support learners with assignments, classroom activities, and feedback.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with the curriculum team to continuously improve lesson delivery.

Required profile

• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring young people.
• Beginner to intermediate knowledge of the listed technologies.
• Ability to create an interactive and engaging classroom environment.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and teaching methods.
• Previous teaching or mentoring experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
