Sonologist / Sonographer (Full-time)

About the role

Clinix Healthcare is seeking a full-time Sonologist / Sonographer to join its diagnostic centre in Awka, Nigeria. The professional will deliver high-quality ultrasound examinations across a range of clinical areas and ensure accurate reporting for referring clinicians.

Key responsibilities

• Perform abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular and small-parts ultrasound scans following clinical protocols.
• Interpret imaging findings, document observations and prepare clear reports for physicians.
• Maintain equipment hygiene, safety standards and efficient patient workflow.
• Ensure confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional standards.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Radiography, Medical Imaging, Ultrasonography or a related field.
• Valid practising licence/registration with the relevant Nigerian regulatory body (e.g., RRBN).
• Strong attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-centred approach.

Required skills

• Proficiency in ultrasound techniques.
• Experience operating ultrasound equipment.
