Social Media Operator – Short Video & Content Management

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Social Media Operator to join our Lagos team. You will be responsible for creating, editing, and publishing short‑form video content across multiple platforms while driving audience growth and engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Shoot, script, edit and produce short videos for TikTok, Facebook, X, Instagram and other channels.
• Set up and manage business accounts on major social media platforms.
• Plan and execute content calendars and program schedules to increase views and followers.
• Monitor performance metrics, analyse data and provide actionable feedback to optimise campaigns.
• Collaborate with creative teams to develop concepts and ensure brand consistency.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Marketing, Media, Advertising, Photography, Videography, Editing, Directing or related field.
• At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in social media operations or short‑video production.
• Proven portfolio of successful short‑video campaigns is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with video editing software.
• Strong knowledge of Facebook, X, TikTok, Instagram business accounts.
• Ability to write copy and scripts for short‑form content.
• Basic data analysis and reporting skills.
