Social Media Manager

About the role

Genuine Media Limited is looking for a dynamic Social Media Manager to lead the online presence of its betting brand BetGenuine. You will craft engaging sports and betting content, grow the community, and drive traffic across multiple social platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute BetGenuine’s social media strategy on Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube and other relevant channels.
• Create daily and weekly content calendars around matches, leagues, tournaments and major football events.
• Produce captions, headlines, polls, threads, graphics, short‑form videos, reels and other social media assets.
• Monitor football and betting trends to generate real‑time, viral content.
• Collaborate with Content, Design, Video, SEO, Product and Marketing teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Promote BetGenuine predictions, insights, statistics, features and campaigns.
• Build and manage an active online community, responding to comments and messages while maintaining brand voice.
• Track performance metrics, prepare regular reports and use analytics to optimise campaigns.
• Support promotional campaigns, partnerships, influencer activities and audience acquisition initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Mass Communication, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Digital Media or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience managing social media for sports media, betting, entertainment or digital brands.
• Strong knowledge of football, leagues, competitions, betting markets and odds.
• Excellent copywriting, storytelling and communication abilities.
• Ability to create engaging content quickly around live matches and breaking news.
