Social Media Manager

About the role

We are looking for a creative Social Media Manager to lead our digital presence across multiple platforms. You will craft engaging content, visual assets and campaigns that reflect our brand in the retail, fashion and FMCG space. This role reports to the marketing team and works closely with management to boost audience growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and publish original content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, WhatsApp and other channels.
• Design graphics, short‑form videos, reels and promotional materials that align with brand guidelines.
• Capture, edit and produce photos and videos from events, trainings and customer success stories.
• Plan, schedule and maintain monthly content calendars linked to marketing campaigns.
• Write compelling captions, blog posts, email copy and other promotional text.
• Monitor trends, competitor activity and emerging digital opportunities, proposing innovative ideas.
• Collaborate with marketing and management teams to enhance brand awareness and campaign performance.
• Leverage AI‑powered tools to streamline content creation and improve productivity.
• Analyse performance metrics using analytics tools and provide actionable insights.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in content creation, social media management or digital marketing.
• Strong photography, videography and video editing abilities.
• Excellent copywriting, storytelling and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Residence in Lagos Mainland or within reasonable commuting distance.
