Social Media Manager & Content Creator

About the role

We are looking for a creative and organized Social Media Manager & Content Creator to join our fashion brand in Abuja. The role combines behind‑the‑scenes production with on‑camera storytelling to boost brand awareness, engagement and sales.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with marketing goals.
• Create, schedule and publish engaging content on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Pinterest and other platforms.
• Plan and manage content calendars, campaigns and promotional activities.
• Produce high‑quality photo and video assets, including product showcases, styling videos, behind‑the‑scenes footage and lifestyle content.
• Conceptualise, script, shoot and edit Reels, TikTok videos and other short‑form content.
• Write compelling captions, copy and campaign messaging.
• Monitor trends, hashtags, competitor activity and emerging opportunities in fashion.
• Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and nurture an online community.
• Collaborate with designers, photographers, models, influencers and marketing teams.
• Track performance metrics, prepare reports and provide actionable insights.
• Manage influencer partnerships and support paid social advertising when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in social media management, content creation or digital marketing, preferably in fashion, beauty, lifestyle or retail.
• Strong knowledge of major social platforms and ability to create trend‑driven content.
• Proficiency with content creation and editing tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut and InShot.
• Excellent photography, videography and video‑editing skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Highly creative, detail‑oriented, proactive and able to work independently.
• Based in Abuja or willing to commute to Wuse 2.
