Social Media Executive

About the role

A proactive and creative Social Media Executive is sought to help grow the company's online presence. The role sits within a marketing team and is based on site in Akowonjo, Lagos; living within the Egbeda, Akowonjo, Dopemu axis is a plus. Candidates must be team players who take initiative and use data and insights to create engaging content that supports business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media strategies with the team, aligned to business objectives
• Plan, create and publish content across relevant social media platforms
• Coordinate content ideas, campaigns and promotional activities
• Monitor trends, audience behaviour and competitor activity to spot opportunities
• Track and analyse metrics such as reach, engagement, impressions, follower growth, clicks and conversions
• Prepare regular performance reports with actionable recommendations
• Respond promptly and professionally to comments and messages
• Contribute ideas in team meetings and follow through on assigned tasks

Required profile

• OND, HND, Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any field
• Demonstrable experience managing social media accounts or creating content for a brand, business or personal platform
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, content trends and audience engagement
• Ability to interpret analytics and use performance data to guide content decisions
• Good writing, content creation and communication skills
• Proactive, results-oriented approach and willingness to learn

Required skills

• Proficiency in Canva, CapCut or similar content creation tools
• Strong teamwork, organisation and time management
