Social Media Digital Intern

About the role

Thinkmint Nigeria is looking for a Social Media Digital Intern to support its marketing team. You will help execute social media strategies that boost brand awareness, engage audiences, and drive online traffic. This is an ideal opportunity for a current student or recent graduate eager to gain hands‑on experience in digital marketing.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in creating and scheduling content across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and other platforms.
• Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely manner.
• Analyze engagement metrics and prepare performance reports.
• Conduct research on social media trends and competitor activity.
• Support the development of social media campaigns and promotions.
• Help maintain consistency across all social media accounts.
• Create basic graphics or video clips when required.
• Collaborate with marketing, communications and other cross‑functional teams.
• Learn and adapt to new social media tools and platforms.

Required profile

• Current student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of major social media platforms.
• Familiarity with social media management tools such as Hootsuite or Sprout Social.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Basic understanding of graphic design and video editing (optional).
