Site Manager – Industrial Engineering Operations

About the role

Desert Fountain is seeking a full‑time Site Manager to lead day‑to‑day operations at its Bachirawa location. The role is on‑site and focuses on coordinating schedules, monitoring project progress, and ensuring strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all on‑site activities, including work crews, subcontractors, and visitors.
• Manage resources, materials, and equipment to minimise downtime.
• Monitor project milestones, prepare performance reports, and document site metrics.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations across the site.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, project, and customer teams to resolve operational issues.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives and contribute to process optimisation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in site management, operations supervision, or industrial facility coordination, preferably within mechanical or industrial engineering environments.
• Strong communication and customer‑service abilities to interact with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated research and project‑management skills for planning and optimising workflows.
• Capability to train and coach on‑site staff on procedures, safety, and performance standards.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial management, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Required skills

• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications and reporting tools; familiarity with project‑management software is an asset.
• Strong organisational, problem‑solving, and detail‑oriented abilities.
