Senior Sales Engineer – Nigeria

About the role

WIKA Group is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to drive growth and manage the full sales cycle for its measurement technology solutions across Nigeria. You will be responsible for developing and executing a long‑term country strategy, building relationships with key customers in oil & gas, petrochemicals, power, and related sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a long‑term country strategy aligned with WIKA’s mission and code of conduct.
• Drive sales for the full portfolio of WIKA products to customers in oil & gas, petrochemicals, food & beverages, power, refining, EPCs and local partners.
• Manage, implement and renew pricing and buying agreements with strategic accounts.
• Develop and expand the in‑country distribution channel network, both existing and future partners.
• Achieve country financial objectives, deliver monthly/quarterly sales results and forecasts.
• Identify new business opportunities with existing clients and develop new accounts.
• Promote WIKA’s value proposition to improve overall customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Instrumentation or Mechanical).
• Based in Lagos, Nigeria with strong knowledge of the local market.
• Minimum 5 years of proven sales success in the Nigerian oil & gas or process instrumentation sector.
• Excellent network within the Nigerian market and strong influencing, negotiating and closing skills.
• Team‑player able to collaborate in a multicultural, matrix environment.
• High resilience and ability to motivate cross‑functional teams.
