Senior Product Designer - Design System

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer (Design System) who thinks at a system level and creates a scalable UI ecosystem across multiple products, teams, and platforms. You will own component libraries, interaction models, and ensure design consistency while bridging design and engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain high visual standards for layout, typography, colour, spacing, and hierarchy across reusable elements.
• Design, build, and maintain robust component libraries (buttons, inputs, cards, navigation, forms, tables, etc.) that scale across products.
• Define interactive behaviours and state transitions to make components feel alive and intuitive.
• Structure and maintain design tokens (colours, spacing, typography, shadows) to drive consistency between design tools and code.
• Organise complex variants, properties, and components within Figma to empower other designers.
• Partner closely with engineering teams across Web, React, Flutter, Android, and iOS to navigate technical constraints.
• Create clear usage guidelines and documentation for component adoption.

Required profile

• Extensive experience building, scaling, and maintaining production‑ready design systems.
• Deep understanding of cross‑platform constraints for Web, iOS, and Android.
• Systems‑thinking mindset demonstrated through a portfolio showing impact across multiple products.
• Strong familiarity with how developers inspect, build, and consume components in code repositories.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Figma libraries, auto‑layout, components, variants, and variables.
• Solid grasp of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles.
• Technical literacy with component‑driven frameworks such as React and Flutter.
• Knowledge of Atomic Design methodology and design token management.
