Senior PHP/Laravel Developer with Infrastructure & DevOps Experience

About the role

We are looking for a Senior PHP/Laravel Developer with strong infrastructure and DevOps experience to build, maintain, and modernize business‑critical, data‑driven applications. The role is fully remote and combines software development (≈70%) with infrastructure administration and DevOps (≈30%).

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain applications using PHP, Laravel, Filament and PostgreSQL.
• Modernize legacy systems, reduce technical debt and improve performance, reliability and maintainability.
• Design and maintain application architecture, APIs and integrations with internal systems.
• Maintain automated testing, static analysis and code‑review practices using tools such as Pest, PHPStan and Laravel Pint.
• Support and improve CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Git and Gitea.
• Lead incident response, troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective measures.
• Administer a high‑availability Proxmox cluster and related technologies (Ceph/CephFS, ZFS, Linux, containers).
• Maintain essential services (PostgreSQL, Jenkins, Gitea, web servers, Icinga, Grafana, Loki) ensuring availability and stability.

Required profile

• At least 8 years of professional software development experience, with senior or technical lead responsibilities.
• Strong hands‑on experience with PHP 8.x, Laravel (preferably version 12) and Filament.
• Deep understanding of application architecture, API design and relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
• Proven experience in secure coding, automated testing and code quality standards.
• Hands‑on systems administration experience covering Linux, virtualization, containers, storage and monitoring.
• Experience managing high‑availability production environments and performing root‑cause analysis.
• Professional proficiency in English.
