Senior Officer, Global Monitoring & Evaluation (M/E)

About the role

The International Medical Corps is seeking a Senior Officer for Global Monitoring & Evaluation (M/E) to strengthen its M/E systems worldwide. Based in Abuja, you will lead the implementation of the M/E Manual, standards, and global data reporting, supporting country missions and senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Update and harmonize M/E standards, competency frameworks, manuals and training materials for field staff.
• Support the rollout of the global M/E strategy, minimum standards and remote‑monitoring approaches in high‑risk environments.
• Assist country teams with data collection, compilation, analysis and use for program planning.
• Coordinate the Global Country Report (GCR), develop indicators with QARI and oversee data review and distribution.
• Provide technical support to missions for data entry in the DHIS2 system and ensure timely submission of quarterly reports.
• Consolidate global data for board meetings, annual reports and communication with external stakeholders.
• Lead systems‑building activities and collaborate with the M/E team and QARI to create or update data tools.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of professional experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably in humanitarian or health contexts.
• Proven ability to work with multi‑disciplinary teams across several countries.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in data‑driven decision making.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with DHIS2 for data entry and reporting.
