Senior Manager – Public Sector Strategy

About the role

PwC is seeking a results‑driven Senior Manager to lead strategy projects for government and public institutions. The role focuses on policy, operational and digital transformation initiatives that deliver measurable impact.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage public‑sector consulting engagements from planning through execution.
• Provide strategic advice on policy, governance and operational improvements.
• Design and implement reform and digital‑transformation initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with public‑sector stakeholders.
• Support business development through proposal writing and client presentations.
• Guide and mentor junior consultants and analysts.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in strategy, boutique, or consulting firms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or related field; MBA is a plus.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Proven ability to structure and decompose complex problems.
• Experience producing consulting‑style PowerPoint deliverables, status reports, meeting notes and project tracking.
• Excellent relationship‑building, leadership, facilitation and analytical skills.
• Full computer literacy and willingness to travel up to 20%.
• Not eligible for work‑visa sponsorship.
