Senior Interior Architect – Design & Estimation Lead

About the role

We are looking for a visionary Senior Interior Architect to lead design and cost estimation for our high‑end furniture line. In this senior role you will shape concepts from brief to production, ensuring they are both aesthetically striking and financially viable.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full design and estimation cycle, from initial concept through to final production.
• Translate client briefs into functional, innovative furniture designs.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates, quotations and bills of quantities for each project.
• Collaborate with production, procurement and sales teams to align designs with budget and feasibility.
• Approve final drawings, material selections and finishes, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations.
• Keep the team informed of emerging design trends, materials and manufacturing techniques.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of designers and estimators.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Furniture Design, Architecture, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• 7–10 years of experience in furniture design and/or cost estimation, including at least 3 years in a leadership position.
• Deep knowledge of furniture manufacturing processes, materials and finishes.
• Proven ability to balance creative vision with cost efficiency.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with SketchUp.
• Proficiency with 3D Max.
• Experience using estimation tools.
