Senior Finance Officer

About the role

The Senior Finance Officer will lead the financial management of DUCIT BLUE SOLUTIONS and its foundation, ensuring sound financial practices that support the organisation’s mission in global health. You will be responsible for strategy, reporting, compliance, grant finance and payroll across a diverse portfolio of projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute financial strategies, forecasts, budgets and long‑term plans to drive sustainable growth.
• Oversee preparation of accurate financial reports, ensure compliance with international accounting standards and conduct variance analysis.
• Create and maintain financial policies, manage tax compliance, coordinate audits and mitigate financial risks.
• Lead grant and fund management, including budgeting, reporting and adherence to donor guidelines.
• Provide financial insights for business development, support contract negotiations and optimise resource utilisation.
• Supervise, mentor and develop the finance team, fostering continuous improvement.
• Manage monthly payroll, ensure PAYE compliance and maintain accurate payroll records in partnership with HR.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA or CFA is highly desirable.
• Minimum 5 years of financial management experience, preferably in health or non‑profit sectors.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations and grant finance.
