Senior Director, Growth & Transformation

About the role

The Senior Director, Growth & Transformation leads the Africa Operating Unit’s long‑term growth agenda. Reporting to senior leadership, you will shape, drive and govern the Long‑Range Plan, the Africa 2035 Strategy and high‑impact transformation initiatives, ensuring they align with enterprise ambitions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the AOU Strategic Growth Lead to develop the Long‑Range Plan and assess macro‑economic, competitive and consumer trends.
• Identify future growth opportunities across markets, categories, consumers and business models.
• Establish and manage governance routines for long‑term planning, ensuring cross‑functional input and executive alignment.
• Translate strategy into execution roadmaps, KPIs, milestones and risk‑management plans.
• Lead enterprise‑critical transformation programs from design to execution (e.g., recruitment playbook, scenario planning, bottler footprint optimization).
• Serve as custodian of the Africa 2035 Strategy, maintaining its narrative, communication materials and leadership updates.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in strategic planning, growth strategy or large‑scale transformation.
• Deep understanding of African market dynamics, consumer behavior and competitive landscapes.
• Strong governance and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Ability to translate long‑term vision into actionable roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
