Senior Civil Engineer – Piling & Foundations

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer specialized in piling and foundations to lead and supervise piling operations on major infrastructure projects in Nigeria. The role combines technical design oversight, site execution, quality control, and team leadership to ensure projects meet design specifications, safety standards, and timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise all piling and foundation works on site.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications and method statements related to piling activities.
• Monitor progress, productivity, schedules and budgets for piling operations.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders.
• Manage site resources including labour, equipment and materials.
• Conduct regular site inspections, quality assurance and compliance checks.
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates and project documentation.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve technical and execution issues.
• Ensure strict compliance with HSE standards, regulations and company policies.
• Review subcontractor performance and ensure contractual obligations are met.
• Provide technical guidance, leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and site teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in civil engineering with a strong focus on piling and foundation works.
• Proven experience on large‑scale infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, marine or industrial works.
• COREN registration and membership of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) is an advantage.
