Senior Associate (Litigation and Compliance)

About the role

The Senior Associate (Litigation and Compliance) will join a collaborative team of lawyers to deliver comprehensive legal solutions. You will draft and review legal documents, conduct in‑depth legal research, and represent clients in various legal proceedings.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and support across property law, corporate litigation, compliance and contract negotiations.
• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of legal documents.
• Conduct thorough legal research and prepare memoranda.
• Represent clients in court, arbitration and other dispute resolution forums.
• Manage multiple cases simultaneously while prioritising tasks effectively.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in property law, corporate litigation, compliance and contract negotiations.
• LLB degree; professional legal certifications are a plus.
• Familiarity with business practices and legal regulations in Nigeria and internationally.
• Excellent analytical, drafting and verbal/written communication skills.

Required skills

• Strong legal research and drafting abilities.
• Expertise in litigation and alternative dispute resolution (ADR).
• Effective client engagement and teamwork capabilities.
