Senior Analyst – Data Intelligence

About the role

The Senior Analyst – Data Intelligence will support data management, analysis, dashboarding and reporting to improve health system decision‑making across facility, LGA and state levels.

Key responsibilities

• Data Management & Analysis: access, clean, validate and analyse data from multiple sources such as HMIS, HEFA and program datasets.
• Dashboarding & Reporting: develop and maintain dashboards for facility, LGA and state‑level performance and prepare monthly performance review packs.
• Monthly Data‑to‑Decision Cycle Support: support preparation for monthly review meetings, identify performance gaps and track decisions and actions.
• Integration of Data Sources: support integration of system data (HMIS, HEFA) with operational tracking data and contribute to standardised templates.
• Stakeholder Engagement: work closely with DPRS, programme teams and partners to present findings and facilitate data‑driven discussions.
• Continuous Improvement: identify opportunities to improve data processes, tools and reporting and support capacity building of government staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science or a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in data analysis, M&E or health systems work.
• Experience with health information systems such as HMIS or DHIS2.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to data quality.
