Senior Accountant

About the role

Swan Medico Ltd. is looking for a highly organized Senior Accountant to oversee financial operations across local and international transactions. Reporting to the Global Head of Finance, you will ensure financial transparency, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Perform regular bank reconciliations for multiple accounts and currencies.
• Validate expense documentation and attach receipts to bookings.
• Track and reconcile monthly customer pre‑payment receipts and report issues to senior management.
• Manage supplier payments, including currency conversions from NGN to foreign currencies.
• Monitor and verify international transfers from Nigeria to overseas bank accounts.
• Maintain accurate financial records in line with company policies.
• Control stock registers, record deviations, and report to the CEO and Global Head of Finance.
• Support the Global Head of Finance with reporting, documentation, and process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Relevant accounting or finance experience, preferably with a Big Four firm.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or SAP.
• Strong knowledge of bank reconciliation, expense management, international payments and stock keeping.
• Experience handling multi‑currency transactions is an advantage.
