Security Officer

About the role

The Security Officer will safeguard SZH GROUP’s premises, personnel, equipment and other assets. You will conduct patrols, control access and respond to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine patrols of assigned areas and identify security risks.
• Control access by verifying the identity of employees, visitors and contractors.
• Monitor CCTV cameras and other security systems.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, accidents or security breaches.
• Maintain daily occurrence books, incident reports and visitor logs.
• Inspect gates, fences, doors, windows and other security points.
• Enforce company security policies and report suspicious activities.
• Assist with evacuations and other emergency procedures.
• Provide courteous customer service to staff, visitors and clients.
• Carry out any additional security‑related duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Minimum Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or equivalent.
• Age between 18 and 25 years.
• No criminal record.
• Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Neat appearance and ability to maintain company standards.
• Physical ability to stand, walk and patrol for extended periods.
