Security & Logistics Co-ordinator

About the role

The Security & Logistics Co-ordinator will oversee all security and land‑transport activities for the IMA project in Nigeria. This role combines risk assessment, team supervision, and logistics management to ensure safe, compliant movement of personnel and goods.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on security matters throughout all project phases and conduct risk and vulnerability assessments.
• Coordinate, supervise and train the on‑site security team and deliver security inductions for staff and Government Security Forces.
• Prepare and monitor security and logistics budgets, Bills of Quantities and related documentation.
• Review contractor security plans, develop bridging documents and ensure compliance with the Company Security Management System.
• Manage land‑transport operations, driver schedules, HSE meetings and ensure conformity with LTMS and driving policies.
• Oversee supply, installation and maintenance of IVMS and DIMS systems, and analyse monthly reports.
• Investigate road‑transport incidents, audit security activities and follow up on audit recommendations.
• Liaise with site security to plan and execute security drills and anomaly reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience in security management and logistics coordination on large projects.
• Strong knowledge of security risk assessment, audit processes and HSE/transport regulations.
• Ability to supervise multidisciplinary teams and manage budgets.
• Excellent communication skills for delivering inductions and coordinating with contractors and government forces.
